Inner Tubes

Inner Tubes are a vital part of most bicycles, filling the tyres with enough air to roll with minimal resistance. Whilst there are now tubeless tyres which no longer require inner tubes, the vast majority of road, mountain and hybrid bikes require inner tubes in order to roll smoothly.

Bicycle inner tubes can come in a vast range of sizes and widths, from a 16" kids bike inner tube all the way up to a 29" x 3" wide mountain bike inner tube. Inner tubes can also have different valve lengths, so make sure to choose the correct length based on the rim of the bicycle wheel. You will also need to know if your inner tube is either a Schrader or a presta valve as these require different pump adapters to inflate them.
